How to use the Timeline maker
- Start from the timeline template.
- Write one period per line: 2021 : First customer.
- Add more events to the same period on the next line, starting with a colon.
- Pick a theme and download a PNG, SVG, PDF or Word file.

About the Timeline maker
Periods can be anything
The period is just text, so 2026, Q3, Week 1 or Discovery all work. Periods are drawn in the order you write them.

- How do I add two events to one year?
- Put the second event on the next line, starting with a colon under the first.
- Can I group periods?
- Yes. Add a line section Name before the periods that belong to it.
